Fire Gardens

City Botanic Gardens

Fire Gardens will transform Brisbane's City Botanic Gardens into a fiery playground for four nights in September as part of Brisbane Festival.

NOTE THAT FIRE GARDENS HAS BEEN TOTALLY CANCELLED DUE TO AN ONGOING FIRE BAN.

For more than 20 years, French artists Compagnie Carabosse have been torching landmarks around the globe, lighting them in flames; from Stonehenge in England to the Kremlin in Russia.

From September 11-14, these luminary alchemists will transform the City Botanic Gardens into a mesmerising dreamscape of smouldering archways and blazing installations.

Festival-goers will be blown away by this spectacle, with spheres of leaping flames, sculptures that flicker and dance, fiery urns that cause shadows to play, and a soundtrack every bit as brilliant as the garden itself.

Gold Coast-based award-winning physical theatre performance company, Shock Therapy Productions, will join Compagnie Carabosse as roving performers for all four enchanted evenings.

Fire Gardens will spark your imagination, touch your heart, and fill up your senses. Don't miss it! This event will sell-out fast!
