Vanilla Pod Specialty Cake Kitchen is Albion’s go-to for exquisite cakes and scrumptious sweet treats for all occasions.

You’ll find the entrance down the elegant side street façade of the historic building in Birbeck St and inside is the petite shop space with one table and chairs and glass cabinets of melt-in-the-mouth cupcakes, slices, sponge cakes and cookies.

Each day, Vanilla Pod churns out a mix of favourites and new creations, with everything baked onsite at their kitchen headquarters.

Here you'll find exquisite mini cupcakes, slices, lucky dip cupcakes, and even spontaneous birthday cakes ready to go.

For special occasions, Vanilla Pod have it all covered too, from Naked Cakes - four layered sponges or the mind-blowing decadent layer cakes, novelty (from T-rex to disco ball) , specialty and pinata cakes, all of which need to be ordered in advance.

Pop in and talk to lovely owner and her friendly staff first about what you want and they will ensure a cake to remember for any occasion.

Good to know: A limited number of cakes are also available as gluten-free.
