This year, the AF French Film Festival has a fantastic line-up of movies for the whole family to enjoy at both Palace Barracks, Petrie Terrace and the Palace James St.

And with ticket prices starting from $13.50 for children, the Alliance Française French Film Festival is the perfect way to introduce the youngest members of the family to the captivating world of French cinema.

As a series of kidnappings grips Paris, Dilili, a six-year old stowaway from New Caledonia, takes it upon herself to solve the mystery, aided by her friend, local delivery boy, Orel.  Together they encounter every major figure from the artistic heyday of the Belle Époque, who all play a part in their relentless investigation.

Marking the 60th anniversary of the beloved comic book series, Getafix, the venerable druid realises that it’s time to pass on the secret of his magic potion to ensure the safety of his village against would-be invaders, sparking a series of adventures and a bountiful supply of Romans for the indefatigable Obélix to battle.

An enchanting family epic, this is the story of Rémi, a ten year-old orphan, snatched from his gentle adoptive mother and entrusted to the care of Signor Vitalis, a mysterious, itinerant musician.  As they journey across the France of a bygone era, their adventures lead Rémi to ultimately discover the secret of his origins.
