Funkee Monkees Cafe & Play Centre

Coopers Plains

Funkee Monkees Cafe & Play Centre is a breath of fresh air for parents and carers of toddlers who relish the opportunity of being able to sit and relax with a coffee without having to worry about losing sight of their toddler like you may in larger play centres and parks.

Funky Monkees Coopers Plains

Funkee Monkees is an indoor play centre suited to early childhood ages and is a complete stress free zone for parents with comfy chairs, air conditioning, great Merlo coffee, a cafe, very friendly staff, no sun and a fully fenced play area which can be completely seen from whichever chair you decide to sit back and relax in.

For working or studying parents and carers, this is the perfect place to bring your kids while you catch up on work or study, not only because the kids can remain amused with the array of play equipment, but because there is free wifi and entry for adults is free! Why not enjoy a coffee and muffin for $6 while you’re at it or select from various meals at the cafe including toasted sandwiches, quiche, chicken filo and nachos. Too hectic to pack the kids lunch? The cafe also serves up kid’s meals, starting with sandwiches for $2.50, hot dogs for $3.50 or meal deals for $5 which also includes a drink.

One great thing about this play centre from a parent’s point of view is its cleanliness. Toys, tables, floors, play equipment and bathroom are spotless and well maintained.  There are plenty of toys and play equipment to keep the little ones busy, from a train table to dress ups, pretend kitchen and cubby houses, ball pit, trucks, ramps and big helicopter, with all areas padded for extra safety. For the little car enthusiasts, there are mini coupes and motor bikes as well as a mini-rollercoaster.  The babies haven’t been forgotten here either with an under 2’s play area in close proximity to a sitting area.

Funkee Monkees is unique in that it is especially designed with toddlers in mind; toddlers rule the roost here.  And where there are happy toddlers, there are happy parents, everyone’s happy at Funkee Monkees !
