Honestly Dishonest

Brisbane Powerhouse

Leading Australian magician Matt Tarrant brings his new show Honestly Dishonest to the Brisbane Powerhouse from 29 November – 02 December as part of the fabulous Wonderland Festival.

Brimming with interactive magic and mind-blowing mentalism and performed up-close and intimate in the Visy Theatre, five-time Adelaide Fringe award winner Tarrant promises to leave audiences happily bewildered, with all-new tricks guaranteed to bamboozle even the biggest sceptics.

Honestly Dishonest is his first major solo show, developed over five years, that combines his favourite pieces of magic and stories from a colourful career.

“Inspired by my personal journey in magic, Honestly Dishonest will take you on your own personal journey to enjoy and fall in love with magic all over again,” Tarrant said.

Tarrant’s journey to the top was a rather unconventional one, leaving his top-end job at one of Australia’s top four banks at the age of 27 to throw himself fully into his budding career as a professional magician and mentalist.

Springing to national attention in 2017 as a fan-favourite on top-rating television juggernaut Survivor, on which he placed fifth overall, Tarrant has fast become one of Australia’s most in-demand entertainers.

Matt Tarrant: Honestly Dishonest plays four performances only, Thursday 29 November – Sunday 02 December at the Visy Theatre, Brisbane Powerhouse.

“With his razor-sharp wit and surprisingly blunt nature, Matt had the audience in stitches” SceneStr
