Sugar Republic

Fortitude Valley

Sugar Republic is a fabulous retro sweets museum and house of fun that is popping up in Fortitude Valley from September 23.

Located at the Valley Metro, visitors of all ages can take an interactive walk through 12 rooms full of nostalgic sweets, candy and desserts.

Sugar Republic

This unique exhibition is an opportunity to relive your childhood and encounter wonder-filled art installations.

Sugar Republic

It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance to play in a huge grown-up ball pit, jump out of a giant birthday cake, climb inside a mega gum ball machine, swing in a fairy floss room or spin the Wheel’O’Treats.

Sugar Republic

Along the way you’ll encounter a sherbet-filled rainbow bridge, an interactive sprinkles wall, a pink on pink installation, ‘press for confetti’ button, Australia’s first neon art wall and even  a larger-than-life traditional lolly shop to play in.

In a nutshell – Sugar Republic is Australia’s ‘must see’ exhibition for anyone who ever hit a sugar high, slammed a Tim Tam or jumped for joy at the sound of a Mr. Whippy van, a truly unique experience for adults and kids alike.

Nice to know - Sugar Republic, the work of Creative Nation Australia, started in a Melbourne confectionery factory and is now on tour.

Need to know - Tickets go on sale on Monday Sep 3 at 12pm. Sessions last for one hour. Night sessions from 7pm are for ages 18+ only. No tickets available at door - they must be purchased online.
