Two Black Birds Specialty Coffee is Spring Hill’s go-to cafe for exceptional espresso and top-notch all-day breakfast fare.

Nestled on Wickham Terrace, this quirky little inner city gem is a sibling of The New Black (Fortitude Valley) and serves the same great brew, roasted locally by Black Lab Coffee Co.  

With plenty of seating options inside and out, coffee aficionados can sample boutique blends and single origins or try a tasting paddle like The Don Pablo (Guatemalan single origin, soda, double ristretto and Colombian flat white) or The Kanye (Ethiopian pourover, maple syrup and Yirgacheffe cold drip). 

The fabulous all-day seasonal menu includes house made savoury mince with grilled potato, poached eggs and Himalayan rock salt ciabatta, chai spiced thick French toast with poached pear, almond crumble and vanilla double cream, and the highly-recommended Moroccan-inspired golden eggs - cumin and turmeric spiced folded eggs served on potato rosti with chili oil and lemon.

Lunch-type fare range from buddah bowls and beef brisket burgers with sticky bbq bourbon sauce to Moroccan lamb tagines – slow cooked lamb shoulder in Moroccan spices served with brown rice, mint, labneh and hand pressed flat bread.  

Besides coffee, there’s Yarra Valley Tea, specialty lattes, fresh juices, milk shakes and Bounty hot chocolate made with coconut milk and shaved coconut.

Nice to know – Bread is sourced locally from Le Sebastian Artisan Bakers and milk is from Maleny Dairies.
