Their school holiday performances have delighted thousands and they develop young talent through their courses and workshops.
We Will Rock You is no doubt going to be one of their big crowd-pleasers, with songs on offer such as the anthemic title song, We Are The Champions, Radio Ga Ga, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, the all-time classic Bohemian Rhapsody and many more.
It helps that legendary Brit comedian and writer, Ben Elton, penned the script so it’s full of witticisms and incisive humour. It tells the story of a small band of bohemians struggling to restore free expression of thought, fashion and live music in a distant future where everyone dresses, thinks and acts the same.
We Will Rock You has been seen by over 16 million people in 28 countries and will be given a fresh lease of life on the relatively small stage of Brisbane Arts Theatre. Why not dress up as a devil, queen or Bohemian or just sing along to be part of the fun?
