Little Paul’s Urban Food Market

Albion

LITTLE PAUL'S URBAN FOOD MARKET HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

Little Paul’s is a home-away-from-home in the back streets of Albion, serving up home-style Italian inspired food and selling tasty, international produce in the market.

The expansive eatery and food market has an open plan vibe, with rustic tables and window seating at the front and a large communal table at the back. There’s also a little laneway down the side of the eatery, with umbrellas, bench seating and Little Paul’s iconic wall mural detailing drawings that represent the Little Paul family heritage.

There is also a very cute kid’s area for the little ones to run amok.

The breakfast menu is designed for on-the-go, with take-home granola cups, croissants and toast to choose from. Little Paul’s also makes a killer omelette in a few different flavours.

For lunch, the Stromboli sandwich is a popular choice; homemade by the mum of the family (like everything on the menu), it’s stuffed with ham, porcetta, mozzarella and sweet peppers, served with a Napoletana sauce that’s designed for dipping.

Looking for something hearty? Tuck into the homemade lasagna, served with a garden salad.

Little Paul’s also sells a range of jaffles – the savoury mince with tomato sauce is recommended by the staff.

The beverage menu is laden with a few smoothies, juices and milkshakes, but coffee is their forte. They even have their own grinding station if you’d like to take some beans home.

Little Paul’s also sells La Bottiglia bottled espresso, which can be taken home to enjoy as an espresso martini, or instore as a cold press coffee on ice. It goes down well with some of the Chef’s homemade crostoli, which she often hands out to visiting customers.

After lunch, take a walk through the food market for some delicious international produce.

Need to know – Parking is available. Dogs are welcome outside.

Nice to know – Little Paul’s is the perfect spot for lunching with the little ones, with the enclosed kid’s area.
