Dune Cafe

Palm Beach

Updated: Aug 11, 2020

Dune Café can be found in one of the Gold Coast’s prime scenic spots overlooking Palm Beach Parklands and the crystal blue lagoon waters of Currumbin Creek. On weekends it’s a magnet for swimmer clad families who descend on the pirate themed playground and sheltered swimming cove and dog owners exercising their pooches on the fantastic nearby off leash ocean and creek beach.

Despite having the monopoly on its exclusive location, Dune Café doesn’t rest on its laurels, with a breakfast and lunch menu sourced from local produce and excellent coffee.

Take a seat on the lawn chairs or beach themed pale timber dining sets before 11am and enjoy breakfast ranging from the light such as organic muesli or wild fruit and nut loaf through though to omelettinis or the Big Breakie.

Lunchtime options centre around gourmet burgers with all kinds of fillings, otherwise choose from nachos, wedges, Panini sandwiches, salads, wild caught barramundi and chips or risotto.

Children are well catered for with a separate breakfast and lunch menu (note: the pizzas are tiny) and Dune Café also hosts pre booked kids parties with a choice of set menus.

Need to know: despite the nearby dog beach, dogs are not allowed at the café, indoors or out but there’s a tie up station at the start of the entry path.
