Original Dave’s Low & Slow Bbq

West End

ORIGINAL DAVE'S LOW & SLOW BBQ AT WEST END HAS CLOSED.

Original Dave’s Low & Slow BBQ is bringing bona fide all-American hot wings and Texas style sticky ribs to West End’s Hardgrave Road.

The restaurant is decorated like a true Texas style BBQ eatery, with wood clad walls and American memorabilia on the walls. The expansive dining hall has tables suited to small and large groups, with both indoor and outdoor seating available.

The menu is laden with American inspired appetisers, meat laden mains and fixins (sides). There is also a designated kid’s menu. Smoked prior to frying, their Suicide Buffalo wings are certainly a must do – you’ll need the side of ranch dressing to cool the spice!

Their Giant BBQ Beef Short Ribs are also a highlight of the menu – after the ribs have been smoked over cherry wood for 6-8 hours, they are then drizzled in Dave’s Almost Famous Bold Beef Sauce. These ribs are available as one rib dinner, or two rib dinner.

The fixins are a popular dish in themselves thanks to Original Dave’s prime recipes. Their creamy mac n cheese is mixed with bacon and jalapenos for a bit of extra heat, which goes well with their 5 Alarm Chilli. Original Dave’s also serves breakfast on the weekends.

There are six beers on tap that are local and American. Popular beers include their Fig Jam IPA and S’mores Than a Feeling Milk Stout. There is also an extensive wine list, plenty of spirits, bottled beers and American Bourbon and Whisky.

Need to know – street parking available.
