Marche du Macaron in Ashgrove is a chic little gluten-free patisserie specializing in scrumptious macarons and a selection of sweet treats that are worth a trip for.

As with its sibling in Gordon Park, everything is gluten-free and baked on premise at Marche du Macaron, which is a family-run business.

Macarons come in flavours such as cinnamon donut, chocolate lavender, musk, citrus lemon, pineapple, lime milkshake, choc raspberry, mint and bubblegum, as well as chocolate-dipped macaron pops (mixed berry or choc strawberry).

As well as macarons, you’ll find a bounty of delectable Rocky Road, fudgey chocolate brownie, panna cotta cheesecake, vanilla bean profiteroles, caramel slices, Florentines, biscotti, croissants and donuts (jam, Nutella and cinnamon).

There’s also old skool style meringues, chocolate crackle cookies, sherbet cones, coconut ice, marshmallows and musk sticks (lime or ice-cream flavoured).

Marche du Macaron also bake luscious daily sweet muffins such as Raspberry with cheesecake and lemon curd topping or savoury muffins such as 3 cheese and sun-dried tomato with fig and date chutney.

Whilst Marche du Macaron is takeaway with regards to food, customers can pull up a seat under the umbrellas outside and enjoy a well-brewed di Bella coffee (with organic Baranbah milk) or T-Bar tea.

Also on offer are a range of cold drinks including San Pellegrino mineral waters, Hanks gourmet sodas, apple juice, pineapple crush and coke or Powerade.

Nice to know - Jars of the house-made chutney and marmalade are available for purchase. Marche du Macaron also do catering, cooking classes, corporate orders and weddings.

Need to know – There’s a few off-street car parks out front, otherwise parking on surrounding streets. Marche du Macaron is located in The Hub shopping strip.
