The Forest Cafe

West End

THE FOREST VEGAN CAFE HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

The Forest Vegan Cafe is a popular West End eatery with a great value menu that packs in the flavour, and dishes made from mostly organic ingredients.

The owners are Indian so the bain marie is chock full of vego Indian staples with not an ounce of stodge in sight – samosas, ginger dahl, wild mushroom basmati rice, pea potato and mushroom curry along with pumpkin and barley rolls. As well there are the usual burgers and paninis and some seriously good salads.

The interior may be on the no frills side but so are the prices – most meals including a choice of two curries with rice come in at around $8 and the most expensive and copious dish is a choice of four curries with rice for $12.
