Experience a scouts-style campfire like you’ve never seen before, when Big Fork Theatre combine with Tarragindi Scouts for a night of improvised comedy in Around the Campfire.

In association with this year’s Anywhere Theatre Festival – where live performances are taken out of the theatre and into new and unusual spaces – Around the Campfire draws its inspiration from that most scout-like of pastimes of gathering around a campfire to tell stories. Only this time it’ll be an improvised comedy production from Big Fork Theatre.

Big Fork’s founder, Cameron Watson, says that, like the Scouts with their ‘Be Prepared’ motto, the performers will need to be prepared for anything that comes their way in the best of improv tradition. The setting at Tarragindi Scouts, with beautiful bush surroundings and log seating around the campfire, was irresistible to Around the Campfire’s director, Glenn Seaby.

We’re promised a night of ‘laughter, mayhem, mateship and marshmallows’ so come along for some fun around the campfire

Need to Know – The show is suitable for all ages and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
