OLE TAPAS BAR IN HAWTHORNE HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

Olé Tapas Bar brings the fresh flavoursome tastes of Spain to the bustling heart of leafy Hawthorne.

Olé's open plan dining space features long beautifully tiled tables, alongside smaller wooden tables outside, which are perfectly designed for group dining. Smaller tables and bar seating is available just inside the restaurant, where diners can share intimate meals amongst two to four.

The ambient décor includes beautiful wall murals including a Spanish bull and a beautiful señorita. The low lighting complements the atmosphere, as does the Spanish background music.

The menu revolves around the idea of shared meals, with staple ingredients imported to maintain its’ authenticity. Diners can choose a platter off the Jamon menu, which are best paired with a few drinks from their well-stocked bar. Tapas can be ordered in all sorts of tastes and flavours, ranging from seafood to meat to vegetarian options.

Of course, sangria also makes the drinks list, available in Tinto (red), Blanco (white), virgin and a daily special. A range of non-alcoholic drinks are also available.

Need to know – On street parking is available around the block.

Nice to know – Local farmers are used as a source of fresh produce and meat.
