Baaia

Sandgate

Updated: Mar 10, 2026

Baaia is a little gem of a waterfront cafe in an old Sandgate store, with stunning views across Moreton Bay.

There is a sheltered verandah that offers a selection of tables both indoors or outdoors, perfect for enjoying those cool ocean breezes.

The food at this cute cafe is seasonally sourced from local, sustainable producers. They serve great Volare Espresso coffee, as well as a selection of teas, milkshakes and fresh juices.

Food at Baaia Sandgate

Some of Baaia's tempting breakfasts include caramel bliss waffles, smoked salmon potato cake, chilli chicken ciabatta; halloumi & mushroom medley and Baaia's Big Breakfast.

Dessert at Baaia Sandgate

Lunch by the sea comes in the form of butter chicken curry, Boston Beans served with poached eggs & cheesy toast and Fiesta cannelloni (cannelloni filled with Mexican flavoured beef served with side salad).

Good to know - Breakfast is served at Baaia until 11.30am and lunch is served from 12 noon.

Need to know - Baaia is dog-friendly and child-friendly, offering separate kid's breakfast and lunch menus.
