At Blackwood Cafe & Espresso Bar on Mitchelton's thriving Blackwood St precinct, great food and great coffee are the order of the day.

A whimsical mural sweeps across the back wall of the cafe, where there are lounges, cushions and tables both indoors, and outside beneath the trees.

The menu is packed with a wide range of choices - Big Brekkie or Veggie Big Brekkie, Fritters, Keto Klassic, Bacon & Eggs; Benny with bacon, veggies, salmon or pulled pork; Waffles (classic or loaded frenchy, traditional or nutella & strawberry); or Breakfast Bowl.

For lunch there's a choice of haloumi bagel; chicken, beef or sweet chilli cheese burger; Arancini roasted pumpkin; crispy squid, chips & salad; classic Caesar salad or Green Goddess salad, while for kids there's mini hot cake stack, Kids Big Brekkie, chicken nuggets or mini cheeseburger and chips; babycinos and kids milk shakes.

Blackwood Cafe & Espresso Bar's drinks include frappes, smoothies, milkshakes, pots of loose leaf Origin tea, and locally roasted Elixir Coffee in all shapes and sizes, including take away.
