Coyote's Roadhouse

Get ready to saddle up, because a new country-inspired hotspot is galloping to the Sunshine Coast, bringing live music, a mechanical bull and plenty of Wild West energy to Maroochydore's Ocean Street.

Coyote’s Roadhouse is set to open at the entrance of Big Top Shopping Centre in Maroochydore in late September, transforming the space into a lively new destination for country music fans, foodies and anyone keen to unleash their inner cowboy or cowgirl.

The new venue comes from Hallmark Hospitality, the group behind Foxy Malone’s Irish Pub in Mooloolaba and various venues across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and will feature two live music stages with entertainment running throughout the venue.

But the music is only part of the fun!

Coyote’s Roadhouse will also be home to a dedicated games hall, where guests can take on the venue’s signature mechanical bull, challenge friends to country-themed pinball machines and have a go at the classic pub game Ring the Bull.

There’ll also be electronic darts, pool tables and a Big Buck Hunter arcade game, making this one venue where you can easily settle in for a few hours of food, drinks, music and games.

Food and drinks will follow the country-inspired theme, with a smokehouse-style menu and a drinks offering designed to complement the roadhouse atmosphere.

Inside, the venue is being transformed by Gold Coast-based Space Cubed Design Studio, with the fit-out drawing inspiration from country towns, rodeo culture and classic outback hospitality.

Expect plenty of rustic touches, including reclaimed timber, aged corrugated metal, worn leather, cowhide and blackened steel, alongside vintage signage, rodeo memorabilia and mounted horns.

The result? A rugged yet welcoming space that aims to bring an authentic country experience to the Coast, with a distinctly relaxed Sunshine Coast twist.
