Pitch & Fork

Toowong

Updated: Feb 26, 2026

Pitch & Fork is a slick modern family-friendly eatery that shares a space with the revamped clubhouse of Toowong’s Wests Rugby Club.

Alongside a striking feature wall of Colosseum-like brick arches, the mostly alfresco dining space catches the summer breezes and enjoys views up the hill to the war monument of Toowong Memorial Park.

The food at Pitch & Fork is no ordinary clubhouse fare, but rather takes on a mix of international, mod Oz and retro dishes (think Chicken Parmigiana, Caesar Salad or Sweet and Sour Pork) and gives them a clever twist, resulting in a menu to keep local foodies happy.

For breakfast, as well as lighter options like Seasonal Fruit Platter and House Made Banana Bread, the comprehensive menu includes Blueberry and Ricotta Hotcakes, Green Eggs and Ham, Sauteed Field Mushrooms, a Hot House Smoked Ocean Trout and Potato Omelette and a delicious twist on some classics – think Breakfast Caesar (cos lettuce, bacon, croutons, parmesan, poached egg and mustard dressing), Healthy Benedict (sautéed broccolini, kale, basil, roast cauliflower, poached eggs, spelt toast and avonaise) or Bacon Croquettes (creamed corn, green beans, poached eggs and dill aioli).

For lunch, there’s Veal Parmigiana or Mustard and Pickle Burger, Classic Cobb Salad, Free Range Sweet & Sour Pork (with maple and lime sauce), Marinated Kangaroo Fillet (with roast beetroot, kale and egg salad, pistachio and raspberry vinaigrette), Garlic Sunshine Coast Tiger Prawns and a Clubhouse Sandwich.

There’s also delicious Fish of the Day and Chips, more-ish Cauliflower Falafels and Roast Butternut Pumpkin Risotto, all of which come recommended.

Meanwhile kids have their own breakfast (Blueberry Hotcakes, Bacon & Egg Roll or Fruit Salad) and Lunch (Veal Parmy, Crumbed Chicken or Fish and Chips or Vegetarian Fried Rice) menus.

Pitch & Fork offers a great range of non-alcoholic drinks to suit everyone. You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy the Shakes here, with flavours of Raspberry Cheesecake, S’mores and the must try Pumpkin Pie (for littlies, there’s also strawberry, vanilla and chocolate).

Smoothies include Mango Lassi, Banana or Green Bro and a small range of juices include OJ, Vegging Out and Green Machine.

Coffee drinkers will find plenty to love here, with coffee from Parallel Roasters available as the gamut of all forms of Hot Espresso, Hot Filtered or Cold Coffee/Cold Drip, both sweetened and unsweetened.

Teas are either Teabox Exotic Indian Teas (including classic English Breakfast, Earl Grey or Moroccan Mint) or herbals from Calmer Sutra Organic Fair Trade, while Chai Latte is also available.

As well as what’s on the main menu (with full table service), there’s also a counter inside where customers can order fresh-baked daily muffins, croissants (plain or ham and cheese), toasties, wraps, rolls, daily salads, Blondies, paleo Brownies and cookies such as Spelt Fig & Macadamia.

Nice to know – Behind Pitch & Fork is Kym Malouf, the savvy owner of nearby Toowong fave Corner Store Café.

The menu may have changed since our visit.
