Sea Salt, the city’s very first eatery dedicated entirely to the art of the lobster roll, has officially dropped anchor at Eat Street Northshore.

A welcome addition to the shipping container precinct, this isn't just another seafood stand. It’s the result of 18 months of intensive research by local owners Yuling and Nathan, who have launched what is believed to be Australia’s only venue focused purely on the golden standard of lobster rolls.

The secret to their success lies in a "hyper-local" philosophy that champions sunshine state produce. At the heart of every order is premium tropical rock lobster, hand-caught by divers in the pristine waters of the Torres Strait and Far North Queensland. As the only diver-caught lobster species in the country, it’s a win for sustainability—meaning no nets, no traps, and zero bycatch.

Sea Salt is all about that authentic, hot-and-buttery Connecticut-style experience, with each made fresh to order. Generous chunks of succulent lobster are finished in a silky clarified garlic butter, in a custom-made brioche bun from a secret Brisbane bakery and combined with Japanese Kewpie mayonnaise and a tangy strip of lemon,
