The Magee Pub & Dining is a funky gastropub, beer garden and restaurant, occupying a landmark heritage-listed Fortitude Valley corner store dating from 1908.

Featuring three main areas to grab a bite to eat and a drink, at the hub of Magee Pub & Dining is the original rustic brick-walled store Main Bar, which leads out to a street level fairy-lit courtyard.

The elevated pub food menu includes Bites such as Massaman Brisket Slider; Honey & Siracha Fried chicken wings; and Duck Spring Rolls with sweet chilli ginger jam; and starters like Mini Beef Wellington; and Prawn Tostada. For something more substantial, choose from Pub Classics with a twist, such as Crispy Asahi Battered Fish & Chips with wakame salad; and Wagyu beef burger; along with Mains such as Creamy Mussel Pot; or Duck Frites and Duck Breast with Duck Fat potatoes and witlof salad.

Out back and downstairs is the leafy beer garden, where you can also enjoy the likes of a classic Beer Garden Steak, salad, and chips and a refreshing Aperol or craft beer. Here you can also partake in a game of bocce, and, on weekends, enjoy like music.
