ALIA Gelato is an artisan neighbourhood gelataria bringing handcrafted gelato, Italian tradition and sustainability to Milton's Park Road precinct, which is set to celebrate its Grand Opening on Friday 6 March.
Nestled between two much-loved local businesses — Italian institution Arrivederci Pizza and fine jewellery store Claude & Me - ARIA Gelato offers a premium yet welcoming space to hang out and enjoy some of the best gelato in town.
Every scoop at ALIA Gelato is made using traditional Italian methods and carefully sourced ingredients, with owner Alessia* actively building relationships with local fruit farmers to bring more experimental and seasonal flavours to the menu over time.
On the menu at ARIA Gelato are both premium dairy-based gelato and real fruit sorbet — from classic favourites such as pistachio, stracciatella, and strawberry to bold seasonal creations designed to spark nostalgia and conversation.
Good to know - ALIA Gelato is the passion project of founder Alessia Anibaldi*, whose career has taken her across the world in international development and humanitarian work before bringing her back to something deeply personal: gelato. With Australian-Italian heritage and childhood memories shaped by the simple perfection of lemon, strawberry and chocolate, Alessia's return to Italy in 2025 became a turning point and It was there she trained under Sicilian Pastry and Gelato Maestro Nino De Pasquale.
Need to know - The entrance to Milton Station is directly across the road. There is limited onstreet parking on Park Rd and nearby streets and paid parking is available at 1 Park Rd.
