La Regina is a recently opened Italian restaurant bringing a warm, modern take on traditional Italian dining to Westfield Chermside.

With a welcoming atmosphere designed for both casual dining and special occasions, La Regina is already establishing itself as a local favourite for authentic Italian food and hospitality.

Inspired by the flavours of Italy and the spirit of sharing, the menu features handcrafted pastas, wood-fired pizzas, premium meats, fresh seafood, and classic desserts, alongside a curated selection of Italian wines and cocktails.

Starters and entrees include a generous serve of antipasti (Italian cured meats: Prosciutto, Mortadella & Salami with arancini. marinated olives, bread & bocconcini); cheese or rosemary & herb focaccia; salt and pepper calamari with aioli & roquette salad; arrancini (rotating flavours each week); and chilli prawns (local prawn cutlets in chilli garlic sauce, served with bread).

Pasta dishes include Linguine Marinara (mussels, clams, prawns, scallops and calamari in Napoli sauce with chilli and garlic); Pappardelle Al Ragu D'Anatra (flat ribbon pasta tossed in a rich, slow-braised duck and tomato ragu); Cannelloni (ricotta & spinach); Lasagna; and Gnocchi Boscaiola (soft potato gnocchi tossed in a creamy sauce with Italian pork sausage and mushroom).

For Mains, choices include Veal Scalloppini (choice of creamy mushroom sauce or white wine and garlic sauce, with steamed vegetables & roast potatoes); Bistecca (grilled 250g rump steak, fries & salad, with gravy or creamy mushroom sauce); and Brodetto Di Pesce (traditional Italian Brodetto with mussels, clams, prawns, scallops and calamari in a seafood tomato Sugo with chilli, garlic and cherry tomatoes, served with sourdough bread).

There's also a great selection of pizzas, ranging from classics such as Margherita, Capricciosa, Diavola, Calzone and Marinara to Montanare (traditional Italian pizza with mozzarella, Mortadella, burrata and crushed pistachio); and Primavera (tomato sauce and fior di latte, topped with roquette, prosciutto & shaved parmesan cheese).

It's worth saving toom for one of La Regina's delectable desserts, such as Panna Cotta (with mixed berries); Cannoli (filled with sweet ricotta cream and garnished with crushed pistachios & dark chocolate); and Tiramisu (housemade, layered with espresso-soaked Savoiardi biscotti, mascarpone and garnished with cocoa powder).

As for drinks, La Regina boasts an impressive Italian wine list by the glass or bottle; a mix of Italian and Australian beers; a selection of Aperitvi (Campari, Aperol, Cynar and Cinzano Rosso or Bianco) as well as Italian Classic cocktails (including Rossini, Bellini, Negroni and a variety of Spritz) and house Signatures such as Basilico Martini, Italian Mojito and Rose Negroni Fizz. There's also mocktails, Italian sparking water and soft drinks, juice, tea and coffee.

Good to know - Family friendly, La Regina offers a kids menu with a choice of spaghetti bolognese, Margherita pizza or chicken nuggets and chips.

Need to know - La Regina is outside the main Food Court, below Event Cinemas, near Grill’d and GYG. Nearest parking is at Ground Level off Gympie Rd near Grill'd.
