Here, diners can sit beneath a shady, sprawling fig tree, providing the ideal vantage point to watch the activity of the marina.

Fresh, seasonal, local ingredients are the main focus at this seaside cafe, with breakfast dishes such as the famous sand crab omelette, salmon cakes, fluffy pancakes, corn fritters, and the Aussie big brekky.

Cafe La Mer's lunch menu features seafood fresh off the boats (crumbed bay-caught whiting) as well as salads (prawn & avocado, grilled octopus, Moroccan lamb), souvlaki, frittatas, burgers, pastas and risottos (seafood, chicken or roast pumpkin). And for drinks, there's Belaroma coffee, organic loose-leaf teas, juices, smoothies and shakes, as well as a tempting range of homemade cakes, slices and biscuits.
