Logan River Parklands

Beenleigh

Updated: Nov 18, 2018

Logan River Parklands, one of Logan's best parks, enjoys prime position on the banks of the Logan River in Beenleigh, just minutes off the M1.

An ideal spot for groups and individuals to relax and unwind, Logan River Parklands has plenty of shade-giving trees and covered picnic tables with electric barbecues.

The colourful playground is fully shaded and includes a climbing web, flying fox, animal-themed musical instruments, mini trampolines and seesaws. There’s also a series of outdoor fitness equipment, a well-maintained off-leash dog area, plus a permanent ping pong table and beach volleyball court. Equipment is not provided so don’t forget to bring your own balls/bats if you’d like a game.

A wide concrete path loops its way around the park, setting a lovely scene for a leisurely stroll. Along the way you may find the perfect spot to drop in a line, launch a kayak, or set up a more secluded picnic. The path is also suitable for cycling or jogging - and even hosts a parkrun every Saturday morning from 7am.

For seafood lovers, Friday is the day to visit, with fresh local prawns available to buy on site. Just follow the road or path north and you’ll come across a fishing trawler selling its latest catch straight off the jetty. Then all that’s left to do is find a nice spot and tuck right in.

Need to know -The whole park is wheelchair and stroller-friendly, with ample sealed car parking available and well-maintained toilet facilities. It’s open 6am to 7pm daily.
