Little Dreamer is a cute café in Calamvale, found in a modest shopping strip on the corner of Kameruka Street and Beaudesert Road, with indoor and undercover outdoor dining.

Open daily for coffee, breakfast and lunch, the extensive breakfast menu is available from 7am until 2pm*. Popular items include smashed avocado with crumbled feta, cherry tomatoes, macadamia, sunflower and sesame seeds on sourdough, fluffy buttermilk hotcakes with seasonal berries, orange segments, candied orange, ice-cream and lemon crumble, and the big breakfast board for 2 with fried and scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausages, bacon, cherry tomatoes, garlic mushrooms, grilled haloumi and toasted sourdough.

Likewise, the lunch menu – available from 11 to 2 – is vast and varied. Gourmet toasted sandwiches range from BLT to pork belly (slow cooked in sweet soy) and pulled duck, while heartier dishes include pastas and risottos such as fettucine carbonara, garlic prawn pasta and traditional seafood risotto with tiger prawns, mussels and calamari in creamy sauce. The café also has a great range of fresh salads from Caesar and roast pumpkin to sweet chilli prawn.
