The Lawn Bar + Cafe

The Lawn Bar + Cafe is a breezy sprawling riverside cafe and bar with stunning water views, in prime position at the base of Dockside apartments at Kangaroo Point.

Occupying an open-sided marquee-like space that was a function venue, the casual laidback cafe and bar is a fantastic spot for a weekend brunch or sunset drink.

The well-priced breakfast menu includes sweet or brut waffle, smashed avo or bacon & eggs as well as Huevos Rancheros, eggs Benedict or a veggie breakfast with the works.

For lunch there's a range of seafood dishes, including salt and pepper calamari, garlic prawns, seafood medley and fish tacos as well as pizzas (including margarita, Italian, vegetarian or supreme); and nachos, sweet potato fries or cheese and charcuterie to share.

Lawn's cocktail list includes watermelon caprioska, pineapple mai tai and passionfruit mojito, as well as house specials like The Lawn Spritz, Signature Martini or Espresso Martini.

There's also a decent selection of affordable wines, to enjoy by the glass or bottle, as well as craft beers.

Need to know - There's a limited amount of street parking at Dockside shopping village or park up in the vicinity of Captain Burke park and take the scenic riverside promenade (approx 15 mins walk).
