Komeyui is a stunning, minimalist chic Japanese restaurant in Spring Hill, offering a handcrafted menu and sensory dining experience like its renowned Melbourne sibling.

Tucked away in the base of a refurbished white building, the entrance to the spacious light-filled restaurant is through a sliding glass door, which is hidden to one side behind dark wood panelling.

The interior of the restaurant is split level, with a drinks bar and sushi bar running right along one side, a kitchen at the rear and well-spaced dining tables throughout, while a couple of private dining rooms can be found behind traditional Japanese curtains.

Diners can choose from à la carte, omakese (chef's tasting menu) or the signature 5-course menu. House specialty is sushi (thin, medium or thick rolls) which is the best you'll find in Brisbane and a must-try - made from top-quality ingredients and prepared freshly upon order at the sushi bar.
