The Barra Boys

Don't be fooled by the no-frills appearance of The Barra Boys, tucked away opposite Woolworths in Moorooka, for here you'll find some of Brisbane's best fish & chips.

On the menu are standard Fish & Chips (cod, whiting, flake, sea perch, barramundi, snapper, calamari, BBQ octopus or prawn skewers) served with chips, or upgrade to Reel Combos, which are served with salad, tartare and lemon. Or for groups, there are Family Feasts or Tackle Boxes (mix of fish, chips, calamari, prawn cutlets & sea scallops). 

The Barra Boys also do a range of excellent burgers, including crumbed barra, beef patty, chicken breast or haloumi as well as classic old school snacks like Chiko or spring rolls, dim sim, prawn cutlets and potato scallops.

Good to know - Undercover free parking is available underneath Woolworths.
