A friendly little cafe bar tucked into the eclectic Gladstone Rd shopping strip, Lucky Duck makes a seriously worthy caffeine, food and drinks stop for passers by.
The outstanding food is a paddock to plate experience, with a daily menu featuring seasonal fresh produce. Breakfast is available until 2.30pm and could include dishes like Butterbeans on housemade brioche, eggs your way with macadamia sambal and kraut or fresh baked cinnamon or creme brulee donuts.
On Fridays and Sundays Lucy Duck is open for dinner with a revolving menu that includes dishes like crumbed eggplant, herby toasty, chicken broccoli schnitzel and fish pastries, with bar drinks including draught craft beers and ciders, boutique wines and spirits and classic house cocktails.
Good to know: Those who avail themselves of an outside stool have a view on one of the city’s better stencil art walls.
