Whether you're a fan of Japanese or Italian food or both, Nonna San is one restaurant you need to try, serving up delicious Italian-Japanese fusion dishes unlike anything you've ever tried before.

Interior seating at Nonna San restaurant

Diners can take a seat outside on the covered terrace or in the bright cavernous neon-lit interior where there's also a handful of booths for groups.

Antipasti dish at Nonna San

Antipasti dishes include Terikaki Pomodoro (sourdough, cream, cherry tomato, teriyaki, red onion & basil); Yuzu Honey Prosciutto (sourdough, cream cheese, teriyaki, pistachio, figs & yuzu honey); and must-try Tacoissant (croissant, octopus, fresh leaf, kewpie, takoyaki sauce & katsuobishi).

Pizza at Nonna San

Traditional Italian style pizzas come with Japanese toppings such as chicken katsu curry (mozzarella, curry, chicken katsu, honey & tomato sauce); okonomiyaki (mozzarella, prawn, squid, katsuobishi & kewpie); and teriyaki beef (mozzarella, teriyaki marinated beef, onion & mushroom).

Pasta dish at Nonna San

When it comes to the pasta dishes, it's hard to go past the Nori Mentaiko (spagheti, roasted nori, pollock roe, spring onion & parmesan); or the Yuzu Kosho Prawn (spaghetti, tomato sauce, prawn, dashi, spring onion & yuzu kosho); and Hatcho Kinoko (spaghetti, button mushrooms, hatcho miso, spring onion & lotus chips).

Gyozagna dish at Nonna San

Star of the show from the 'Oven' dishes is the Gyozagna (pork gyoza, mozzarella, tomato, parmesan, bechamel sauce & beef); otherwise try the Chicken Katsu Fondula (cheddar cheese, mushroom, chicken katsu & mozzarella); or the Kinoko Fondula (cheddar cheese, mushroom, beef mozzarella & pistachio).

Dessert at Nonna San

There's also a small selection of delicious salads including Yuzu Ricotta Cheese, Chicken Katsu Caesar and Teriyaki Caprese; whilst for dessert there's Matcha Tiramisu, Pine Cone Yuzu Panna Cotta or Watermelon Granita.
