La Zucca Cafe & Pizzeria is the go-to for woodfired pizzas and authentic Italian meals in the northern Brisbane suburb of Bald Hills.
It is quite a spectacle here to watch the pizzas being fed into the woodfire oven which sits proudly near the back of the restaurant. Each pizza is prepared onsite with a range of classic and gourmet toppings - chicken, avocado and camembert, goat's cheese and prosciutto, or duck and sesame slaw are some of the more creative options.
Aside from these tempting starter pizzas, traditional Italian main courses include lasagne, spagetti bolognaise, chicken mushroom risotto with a selection of salads on the side. Woodfired calzone are also available. The drink menu includes Vittorio coffee, pots of tea, milkshakes, juices and soft drinks.
Definitely leave some room for La Zucca Cafe & Pizzeria's decadent dessert pizzas. They have created a unique range of strawberry and chocolate pizzas, caramello pizzas, ferrero rocher pizzas, cherry ripe pizzas and even oreo pizzas.
Need to know: This cafe warmly welcomes children and families with some excellent kids and school holiday specials available.
