Riverland, located down bustling Eagle Street is Brisbane CBD’s hottest social setting, with an 80ft bar and five shipping containers serving street food.
The aptly named Riverland has lots of seating nooks within the beer garden, that all take advantage of Brisbane’s greatest asset – the Brisbane River. There is seating the entire way down the venue’s edge so that patrons can sip on a beverage whilst enjoying a view. The venue is modern and industrial, laden with wooden beams and containers with a Tropicana vibe.
There is a function area off to the side filled with bar tables and couch seating.
There are five shipping containers that are on rotation with the best street food vendors in town. Riverland will be featuring a variety of vendors so that there is something for everybody to enjoy – no two will be the same.
Carolina Kitchen will be anchoring the street food team, with the others revolving every six weeks or so.
All the containers will be open for lunch and dinner dining options – meaning you could attend twice in the one day and eat completely different cuisines.
The bar is stocked up with 16 tap beers and ciders, Australian wines, spirits and a fun cocktail menu. We think there’s nothing more idyllic than sipping on a Mojito or a Cosmo whilst watching the sun set over Brisbane’s iconic river.
Need to know – nearby parking is limited.
Nice to know – for events of more than 20, hire Riverland’s function space and receive assorted food boxes, filled with tasty dishes from each vendor. Prices start at $30 to feed five.
