Updated: Dec 29, 2020

Riverside Centre Food Court overlooking the Story Bridge and river is not just Brisbane’s best located food court but one that offers quality food from a curated selection of outlets.

Enjoying the same views as some of Brisbane’s five star restaurants, diners at Riverside Centre can also enjoy the river breezes while tucking into some delicious great value nosh (with plenty of change from $20) from Little Saigon, HIVE Coffee and Eating House, LR Sushi and Zambrero (Mexican).

Little Saigon Grill is the second shop to sell the more-ish Vietnamese street food its Albert Street sibling is known for – think Chicken or Pork Banh Mi, salads such as Satay Chicken with Crispy Noodles or Thai Beef Salad and a great range of fresh rice paper rolls with fillings of coconut chicken and mayo, soft shell crab and avo, hoisin duck, and beef, chicken or pork lemongrass. There’s also curries and soups and in winter look out for their laksas.*Cash only at time of writing in Apr 2015.

In a world of Mexican food chains, Zambrero stands out both for its social conscience and its delicious tasty food. (Every meal purchased provides one meal for a person in a developing country). The street food here is a design-your-own affair: choose from Burrito, Chikito (mini Burrito), Bowl (Burrito without the tortilla), Black Rice Powerbowl, Taco, Dos Capas, Nachos or Quesadilla, then white or black rice; pork, chicken, vegetarian, beef or lamb, toppings of tomato, corn, onion salsa and coriander or guacamole and sauces of Red chilli, chipotle, verde, garlic and herb, basilo or secret BBQ. Open 9-4.
