One of Queensland’s oldest licensed pubs, the Grand View Hotel began life as a single storey structure in 1852 and today is one of Cleveland’s oldest surviving buildings, has just reopened after a multi-million dollar makeover.

Long gone are the bathing house and nearby jetty and much of the original character however the year-long refurbishment has included the preservation of its heritage-listed hallway and Cleveland Room, as well as the uncovering of a 170 year old well, dating from 1855.
