The Blue Poppy

Morningside

Blue Poppy is a charming little coffee house hidden away in Morningside suburbia, serving up some of the best coffee on the east side of Brisbane.

But The Blue Poppy is more than a coffee stop, it also has a creative brunch menu including smashed avo, rhubarb and apple waffles, zucchini and corn fritter balls eggs benny and green breakfast bowl, followed by buttermilk chicken burger, Poppy classic burger and a weekend BBQ breaky roll.

And more reasons to linger are its stash of table games, an inset chess/chequers board on the table, magazines and newspapers.

The menu may have changed since our visit.
