Octane Coffee Co Roastery

Local boutique roaster Octane Coffee Co have been roasting beans at their railway side premises for five years but only recently expanded into the neighbouring 1950's shop to create a little espresso bar.

Railway commuters and anyone else who happens upon this careworn little gem, (which is in the process of being given a funky facelift) can get a decent caffeine fix here either to take away or drink in at the espresso bar or under the back pergola.

Not pretending or aspiring to follow the Italian way, Octane coffee is a lighter, slightly sweeter and unique blend of beans sourced from Mexico, Ethiopia, Papua New Guinea and Colombia, ideal for those who take milk in their coffee.

Those who can't make it here to the roastery can also get a fix of Octane at their Chermside café or on weekends around town at the Jan Power's markets.
