Queens Park Cafe

Ipswich

Updated: Oct 21, 2020

Queens Park Cafe overlooks the main playgrounds of Queens Park and the historic Ipswich Croquet Club, and this spacious casual eatery offers all-day breakfast and all-day lunch dining.

The colourful and cheerful interior dining area opens via bi-folds to a lengthy, cool verandah, making it a great refreshment stop for park visitors.

The family-friendly menu is extensive and it's prepared with love and care from locally sourced products. On offer are the likes of burgers, sandwiches (including gluten-free options), salads, desserts and favourite cooked breakfast dishes such as Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, bacon, mushrooms or ham, and the classic chicken parmi.

You can also pre-order a range of delicious catering boxes for collection on a Saturday or Sunday, which are perfect for a lovely picnic in the park. There is a Brunch Box, a Dessert Box and the Aussie Box. These come in 2 sizes – Small (feeds 2 adults) or large (feeds 2 adults & two children).

Every weekend, local vendors set up their stalls at the café so it’s a wonderful opportunity to  support small business and grab a gift or two.

Centrally located in Queens Park, the cafe is also just a hop, skip and a bow from the  stunning, Japanese-inspired Nerima Gardens, and a quick stroll to the popular and family-friendly Ipswich Nature Centre, where you have the chance to see a myriad of wildlife up close as you meander along the boardwalks throughout the centre.

Nice to know – Takeaway is available. There is ramp access up to the cafe and public toilets are located within the complex on the same level.

Need to know - Queens Park Cafe is closed on Public Holidays.
