Mt Gravatt

Updated: Nov 18, 2025

Kith 'n' Chow is a groovy, garden oasis - an alfresco café perched on a patch of Astroturf with an eclectic mix of tables and chairs, and a retro caravan kitchen - found tucked away in the backstreets of Mt Gravatt.

The small menu is done well and includes housemade roasted maple granola, bacon and egg stack, grilled haloumi salad bowl, beetroot hummus or Buttermilk Waffles (housemade with choice of matcha milk or maple syrup, fresh fruit and whipped cream).

If you can't decide, try the highly-recommended Kith 'n' Chow Platter for Two with a little bit of everything:  pan-seared cherry tomatoes, grilled haloumi, mixed mushrooms, free range fried eggs, bacon, smoked salmon, fresh salad greens with housemade herb vinaigrette, homemade granola, Greek yoghurt with fresh fruit and toasted sourdough.

Besides coffee, there are fruit juices like Green Glory, Sunrise and Pinkle - a delicious concoction of watermelon, Granny Smith apples and lemon - and smoothies such as banana and honey, strawberries and banana, berry and peanut butter. There's even a Smoothie Bowl which is a meal unto itself.

Nice to know - There's also a kids menu of Toast, Bacon & Eggs or Buttermilk Waffle.
