Devon Pixies Tea House

Kingston

Updated: Mar 24, 2026

Devon Pixies is a quaint tea house residing in the old caretaker's cottage at the Kingston Butter Factory Precinct at the vibrant cultural precinct.

The historic cottage has been converted into a charming tearoom inside, with tables set with rose-patterned tablecloths and vintage teacup sets, while outside on the wraparound verandah, patrons can sip cups of tea or coffee with a delicious slice or cake, enjoy a traditional Cream Tea with fluffy scones, jam and cream for something extra special.

Devon Pixies offers high tea without pretense or hefty price tags. The Petit High Tea includes freshly baked scones, organic strawberry jam and thick cream, as well as one hot savoury bite, dainty finger sandwiches (fillings include egg salad, cream cheese and cucumber, ham and mustard, or ploughman's cheese) plus a delectably decorated cupcake.

Meanwhile, High Tea consists of all of the above plus an extra savoury bite and a trio of sweet treats. And while some teahouses shun children, Devon Pixies welcomes them, with a Children's High Tea for littles aged 4-12 years.
