Nestled in the heart of South Bank, this charming cafe serves a delightful selection of food and drinks, all within a beautiful atmosphere.

Retreat to the secluded, leafy courtyard where you can enjoy the playful water feature and beautiful bronze sculptures or take a seat inside with an artist-created mural as an inspiring backdrop to your dining experience.

Brisbane-based acclaimed artist Tamika Grant-Iramu has transformed the QAG Cafe with a vibrant mural inspired by the lush greenery of the neighbouring South Bank Parklands.

The menu offers a thoughtfully curated selection of delicious meals, alongside a selection of desserts and coffee options, as well as a range of refreshing cold drinks to keep you cool and refreshed throughout the day. The Gallery works with Queensland growers and suppliers to showcase the best of our region's produce and minimise environmental impact.

Meals are available until 3pm daily, with lighter options including QAG quiche of the day with seasonal salad & chardonnay dressing; sweet potato croquettes with tomato jam & parmesan; and ham and cheese toasted sourdough Croque Monsieur.

Choosing only the freshest ingredients, mains include mango ginger chicken salad, apple, avocado, cranberries & butter lettuce; tempura eggplant, black bean, sesame, wombok salad, cashew crumb &  furikake and the mus-try Sticky soy beef, which comes with cucumber, cherry tomato, mint, coriander, and crispy noodles.

There's also sandwiches or fries with tomato jam and if you're craving something sweet, there’s always a delicious assortment of dessert and pastry offerings. You can find the latest seasonal menu online.

QAG Cafe is licensed, with a choice of beer, wine and spritz as well as a small selection of Australian wines. Otherwise there's coffee, tea, iced drinks (including iced mocha, latte & chai or house brewed 20hr cold brew). soft drinks and non-alcoholic G & T, beer or spritz).
