Myrtle & Blossom is a relaxed café in Brisbane's charming seaside suburb, Sandgate, which shares the joy of real food and artisan produce. Their ethos is to source the freshest seasonal ingredients and work directly with creative farmers, growers and artisan suppliers to capture genuine flavour.

Maximum taste and minimum waste underpin a sustainable menu where familiar favourites are given a fresh new twist, with some of the the café's produce grown in a home market-garden and all of their fresh kitchen waste composted or fed to their chickens.

The breakfast, brunch and lunch menus shows their desire to share the joy of real food and locally-sourced artisan produce. In addition to the classics, dishes range from a Hodge Podge and Pear consisting of pear poached in red wine, orange and spices, gingerbread and chocolate crumbs, mandarin, coconut, mascarpone and meringue; to the Prawn Salad with watermelon, whipped smoked feta, cucumber, radish, roasted beets, onion, mixed leaves and Bloody Mary gel.

Also on offer is a range of housemade pantry items to take home, such as orange, gin & thyme marmalade; strawberry, watermelon and rosewater jam; pineapple, white rum and garam masala preserve; smoked butter; whipped smoked feta; spice mix and rosemary salt.

Myrtle & Blossom is also licensed, championing Queensland wines from the South Burnett and Granite Belt, as well as offering local craft beer from small producers such as All Inn Brewing Co. from Banyo.
