Bar Lou Lou
Fortitude Valley
Updated: Oct 01, 2026
Why choose between a glass of wine and a good op-shop browse when you can do both? Located on Barry Parade in Fortitude Valley Bar Lou Lou brings together great wine, Asian eats and a vintage shopping together in one eclectic new hangout.
The interiors are warm, colourful and inviting with vintage and restored furniture, timber details, mismatched tableware and plenty of cushions giving the space a relaxed, lived-in feel.
And then there’s the shopping. Tucked at the back of the bar is a mini vintage and secondhand selection, where you can rummage through pre-loved clothing with pieces ranging from around $5 to $40.
When hunger strikes, the menu takes a playful spin on familiar favourites, with French pastry chef Adnane Khattabi behind dishes including banh mi crostinis, tuna tataki, lemongrass chicken skewers, kimchi roti toasties, Japanese curry pie and a Thai-inspired Bunnings sausage. There are also plenty of vegan and gluten-free options to choose from.
To drink, expect a rotating selection of natural, local and small-batch Australian wines, plus tap beers including Guinness and a few classic cocktails for those who fancy something other than vino.
Bar Lou Lou is also dog-friendly, and there’s a community-minded touch behind the scenes, with proceeds from empty bottles and cans donated to Valley Hearts.
