Cooee Cafe & Restaurant

Cannon Hill

Cooee Cafe & Restaurant, part of Minnippi Golf & Range (Brisbane's first golf club to open in 70 years), sits perched in prime position overlooking the beautiful surrounds of Minnippi Parkland.

Visitors can take a seat inside the sleek open-sided glass pavilion or on the outdoor lawns where there are BBQ tables shaded by pink umbrellas and surrounded by white picket fences.

Open for lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday and breakfast on weekends (and lunch on Sundays), Cooee Cafe & Restaurant is one of the most picturesque places to dine in Brisbane's eastern suburbs.

For breakfast there's a choice of Eggs Your Way, Famous or Pulled Pork Benedict, Avocado sourdough, Vegetarian Breakfast or Cooee Breakfast Burger as well as Acai bowls (plain or loaded).

The lunch and dinner menu includes small tapas-style dishes (perfect with a glass of wine or cocktail or as a starter) such as arancini, prawn sliders, pulled pork tacos and cheesy garlic pizza; while larger dishes include burgers, salads, steak sandwhich or fish and chips as well as a selection of pizzas.

Meanwhile main dishes include crispy-skin barramundi; Scotch fillet steak; slow-cooked pork belly or truffle mushroom gnocchi. There's also a kids menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Drinks offerings include Fortitude Brewing Co, Revel and Your Mates beers on tap; wine by the glass or bottle; cocktails such as Minnippi-rita (agave, orange curacao and lime) and Dai-Cooee (white rum, dragonfruit and lime) and jugs of pear and mandarin spritz. From the 'milk bar' there's healthy smoothies and decadent shakes (including cookies & cream or salted caramel & popcorn) as well as well-brewed coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

Good to know - There's also a couple of pink table tennis tables and a small mini-golf course attached.

Need to know - There is a free car park onsite. While the address is Creek Road, Cooee is located within the golf club via the housing estate (turn in and follow the signs to Minnippi Golf).
