The Garden Room

Roma Street Parkland

Updated: Jan 23, 2026

The Garden Room is a stunning railway pavilion style cafe nestled on the Brisbane CBD side of Roma Street Parkland.

The light-filled high-ceilinged glass space makes a perfect leafy retreat to enjoy a gourmet breakfast, lunch or delicious afternoon snack away from the bustling city streets.

The Garden Room Roma St

On the breakfast menu you'll find toasted locally baked sourdough with fresh Parkland honeycomb, organic oat and chia breakfast pudding, free range eggs (baked or on toast), frozen pitaya smoothie bowl, cinnamon  dusted doughnuts or a big grilled breakfast (free range pork sausage, eggs any way, potato cake, roast field mushroom, tomato and sour dough).

For lunch there's the likes of buttermilk fried chicken bun, zucchini blossom, poached chicken caesar salad, pan-roasted atlantic salmon, cheese burger, harissa spiced pulled lamb pita, Vietnamese rice noodle salad or Young Henry's beer battered reef fish with minted pea puree and chips.

Meanwhile, light snacks, which are available from 2.30pm until close, include butternut pumpkin and provolone arancini, mezze plate, roasted chicken wings, 'gardener's pie' or cheese or charcuterie platters.
