Doo-Bop Bar

Brisbane Cbd

Updated: Aug 28, 2025

Doo-Bop Bar is a cool multi-level music bar, bringing jazz, world-class blues, soul and funk to the streets of Brisbane CBD from its home inside a historic character-filled building.

With jazz art deco adorning the walls and coloured lighting to set the theme, it’s the perfect place to wind down after a busy day or to enjoy the ambience.

Downstairs is where the party erupts - the basement level showcases a large stage where the live music magic happens, with plenty of room for relaxing on the couch, drinking at the tables or grooving to the music.

On the ground level is the more mellow piano bar, featuring a 1955 refurbished grand piano – all the way from New York. You can kick back with a glass of wine or cocktail and catch top pianists performing (solo and duo) from 6pm.

The drinks menu is abundant with high quality wines, tap beers, bottled beers, cocktails and cold drinks. These are available both downstairs in the basement and upstairs in the piano bar.
