Home on the Green is a open-air cafe located at the entrance of the Red Hill Community Sports Club and surrounded by the lush lawns of the Bowling Greens Club.

This Red Hill coffee slinger is a sibling of the beloved Home Cafe in Ashgrove, which, much like its culinary sister, is all about community.

The leaf-laden cafe has an airy undercover area, as well as an outdoor seating area where four-legged friends are not just welcomed, but encouraged.

Home on the Green brews up Botero Coffee, alongside a list of hot and cold beverages ranging from tea and coffee to frappes and smoothies and, of course, babycinos and puppercinos for the much-loved smaller customers.

When it comes to the food, Home on the Green cafe has a glass cabinet stocked with sweet and savoury snacks, made fresh everyday. You can grab bagels, quiches, sandwiches, fresh bread, brownies, pastries and more to pair with your drink of choice.

After taking a seat with your coffee, be sure to explore the shelves of the community book swap located in the right hand corner of the cafe. The cafe also has an area for little ones to ditch their high chairs and play with their toys.

Need to know: There is plenty of parking at the bowls club, so no need to park on the street.
