From strip clubs to electricity substations, warehouses to houses, libraries to galleries, wine cellars to laneways, botanic gardens to the planetarium, anywhere in Brisbane becomes the stage in the 16th annual Anywhere Festival from Friday 1st May to Sunday 31 May.

Anywhere Festival is Brisbane's annual chance to discover nooks and crannies of Brisbane and experience the joy of live music, theatre, comedy, dance with just under 300 performances.

"Anywhere Festival is Brisbane's unique homegrown festival where you can see a show without breaking your budget," said Paul Osuch, Artistic Director of Anywhere Festivals. "It's the festival where you can explore Brisbane, see new, funny, bold ideas put onto stage and experience something to talk about."

Back from an epic 92 performance run at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, KMak and Angel Strings return to the planetarium Mt Coot-tha for a spectacular feast of music as you sit back and explore the universe.

Actor from What The Perimenopause show at the Brisbane Anywhere Festival 2026

Topics of today are explored in The Agent, diving headfirst into the absurdity of Australia's property market, The Bloke Agenda doing the same for the manosphere, We Could Be Viral "Get views or die trying" and the music extravaganza What The Perimenopause? from Delilah Rose & The All Stars.

Brisbane Anywhere Festival

The Paint Factory site in Yeronga is taken over from May 21st to 24th to create an extraordinary once only festival hub of 35 performances in warehouses, under buildings, and spaces that used to be the working Taubman's Paint Factory.

May the 4th be with you. The Artful Dodgers return with the hilarious Shakespeare and Star Wars mash up, this time taking on Episode V, otherwise known as Bard Wars Chapter The Fifth: The Empire Striketh Back.
