WineGlass Water Tower

Hillcrest

Wineglass Water Tower in Hillcrest is an iconic City of Logan attraction that is a drawcard at night, when 155 changing lights make for a fabulous light show.

Taking its name from its unique wine glass shape, the the water tower holds a million litres of water, while the bowl alone weighs close to 400 tonnes.

By night, visitors can enjoy the light show which can be seen from kilometres away, featuring 155 lights that change colour during the year according to community celebrations. There’s also a scenic park located underneath which makes a perfect spot for an evening picnic.

Nice to know - Keep an eye on this attraction during special times of the year and events, like Christmas and NAIDOC week.
