This Sunshine Coast Hinterland resort encompasses six hectares of rainforest hugging the banks of Picnic Creek in the Blackall Ranges. Kondalilla Falls National Park is conveniently located next door to the property, so after a few hours hiking the trails, all that is required is to soak those tired muscles in a hot spa overlooking the National Park - guaranteed to lift the spirit.

All accommodation is fully self contained, ranging from affordable cottages to luxury pole houses, each named after a different species of the local flora and fauna. Delicious breakfast baskets may be delivered to the cabins, bursting with local produce. The key theme of the resort being relaxation, there are also wonderful massage and beauty treatments available.

During summer, guests enjoy swimming in the resort pool, and dining on the outdoor decks overlooking the rainforest canopy. While during winter, there is something so nourishing about snuggling up next to a cosy log fire (complete with unlimited supplies of wood) with a tasty cheese platter.

Tree Houses of Montville provides a valuable wildlife habitat to the local creatures, and some fortunate guests may spot a platypus or two, swimming in the resort rockpools. The mountain village of Montville is a five minute drive from the resort, where it is easy to spend an afternoon browsing the various shops, galleries and cafes.

Nice to know: Families are welcome to stay at Tree Houses of Montville - children will especially love listening to the nocturnal forest creatures, such as possums, pademelons, and many species of native frogs. As Tree Houses of Montville is located right at the entrance to Kondalilla Falls National Park, be sure to pack some sturdy walking shoes and swimming gear (during the warmer months).
